How to Create a Prompt Library for Your Team
A practical guide to building a shared prompt library — how to collect, organize, template, and maintain prompts that your entire team can use effectively.
Every team using AI has the same problem: one person discovers a great prompt, uses it for a week, and nobody else ever benefits. Meanwhile, everyone else is writing mediocre prompts from scratch for the same tasks.
A prompt library fixes this. It's a shared collection of your best prompts, organized and templated so anyone on the team can get consistent, high-quality output from AI.
Here's how to build one.
Why Individual Prompts Aren't Enough
Without a shared library:

Step 1: Identify Your Core Use Cases
Before collecting prompts, map out the recurring tasks where your team uses (or should use) AI.
